I have a painting that was passed down to me from my wifes Grandfather of HMS Royalist at sea flying a navel ensign flag and a bi plane on the frount deck one problem with the painting is the three funels have caps on He told me this was painted on a board while at sea on active duty in spare time by one of his mates. His name was Basil Perin and I think he served on this ship in the first World War. I looked after Basil and his wife in there later years and heard many tales and I have written a blog about them . My question is does anyone know the history . mike@mikeparsons.biz86.15.62.156 10:04, 17 September 2007 (UTC)mike
