"sole ocean-going survey vessel"
editThe articles describes HMS Scott as the RN's "sole ocean-going survey vessel". Is this true? Don't the multi-purpose Echo-class ships count as ocean-going survey vessels? 92.8.50.182 (talk)
- This should really read "Ocean Survey Vessel (OSV)" - it is the nature of the survey rather than the seakeeping qualities that is the key point here. I'll make the appropriate changes. Shem (talk) 23:41, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
