Year of release to be verified

Origin of the name
editFWIW, the device came from HP's calculator division in Corvallis, OR.
The product name "95", comes from the goal "95% of a PC".
I don't have enough defensible evidence to place it in the main article —it's from knowing some of the team members from my own time on that HP site
