As this article is expanded on as part of the Rockaway Park Shuttle article, it is proposed that this H (New York City Subway service) article be merged with the afore-mentioned article. STrRedWolf (talk) 02:47, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Comment. This page has been planned as a disambig page (because the letter H may mean both an internal designation for the S and the current temporary replacement for a part of the A). I don't think it's a good idea to convert this disambig to an article. All this info already exists in other articles. Vcohen (talk) 09:11, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Merge 2

No, both the replacement H (which will cease to exist) and the Rockaway Park Shuttle (the suspended service internally designated as "H") are the same service. The A has nothing to do with it.

Currently the H is described in the A article, because it's a temporary replacement for the southern portion of the A. It shares one station with the S and six stations with the A. There has already been a discussion about it. Vcohen (talk) 12:58, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

P.S. The internal designation of the Rockaway Park Shuttle is H, you are right, but there are many examples of using one letter for multiple services, so the same letter does not mean yet it's the same service. Vcohen (talk) 13:28, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
