Affordable?
editAnyone care to specify what is meant by 'quite expensive', or provide a link to something substantiating this? I'd like to know what it costs to buy a piece of architectural legend :)
A: Pricing for Habitat apartments is in the $CDN200,000 per block range. It is in fact competitive on a per square meter basis with condos selling in the Montreal region. The "quite expensive" should read "relatively affordable" when you consider that Habitat 67 is a waterfront property 5 minutes from downtown in a major city. Waterfront apartments in the neighboring Nuns' Island sell at similar prices. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.70.79.142 (talk) 17:34, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
'Relatively affordable?' With a price tag of approx $450K per unit and then co-ownership fees of approx $20K per year, I would hardly use that term. I wonder how well insulated they are, given the extreme weather conditions in that city? 69.196.131.252 (talk) 16:44, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Red Brick Flats
editHello, I removed this section because it looked like original research. If an external reliable source has already commented on this similarity, then please re-add this section with an appropriate citation. Vectro 18:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed the claim to similarity and reinserted the picture. JetheroTalk 02:39, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Similar architecture
editThe Red Brick Flats in Limehouse, East London bears a striking resemblance to Habitat 67.
- And I've removed the picture from the article. Yes, there is some passing similarity. But it is unrelated to Habitat and its presence confuses readers. It you think it's notable, please create an article on it rather than working it in here. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 16:15, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Public Housing?
editAccording to the "Quebec" section of the Public Housing in Canada article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_housing_in_Canada#Quebec) Habitat 67 is a housing project. Can anybody verify that? I kinda doubt it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.48.80.21 (talk) 19:21, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
editCyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
