Its almost a joke
editHafnium trifluoromethanesulfonate does not exist. Its some fantasy of organic chemists who dont know enough basics. No doubt some goop is generated that organic synthetic chemists pretend is hafnium trifluoromethanesulfonate, I guess because it makes them seem smart (to other organic synthetic chemists), but such a formulation is pretty unlikely. - It appears that even though it is sold, it has not been properly analysed as to what it is. I would add an OR comment that if it really was as the formula suggested it would be volatile and melt at less than 300°C. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:55, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
