The Haghpat article has too much info about Haghpat Monastery. The article should be shortened accordingly but I believe a merge is not the answer. House of Scandal02:56, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would like to move this article from "Haghpat Monastery" to "Monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin" which is the full name of the World Heritage Site that includes the Haghpat Monastery, and develop it so that it describes the entire World Heritage Site in one article. In doing so, I might also reduce the WHS coverage of the monastery of Sanahin that appears now in the separate article Sanahin. But the Sanahin article covers the village, and more than just the monastery there, so I am certainly not proposing to merge or delete away that separate article.
