Lunar and Solar birth dates

edit

January 6, 1943 is her lunar birth date. So February 10, 1943 would be her Solar birth date. See table in Sexagenary_cycle#Cyclic_years_and_Western_Years. Lunar new year was Feb 05 1943 + 5 days => Feb 10. --Uncle Ed (talk) 05:02, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

The current version has been sanitized by Unification Church members

edit

If you want to read a more balanced version go back a couple years. Anything that could be considered embarassing to the Unification Church has systematically edited from this page by Unification Church members. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.51.185.47 (talk) 10:05, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey, IP guy! Now that I'm no longer bound by an editing restriction, I intend to de-sanitize this article and related ones. --Uncle Ed (talk) 18:34, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this reads like a propaganda article at the moment. 83.233.155.147 (talk) 14:19, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

The article is back in a very biased, pro-Unification Church state. I've tagged it accordingly; it would be good if somebody more familiar with this article can revert/edit it to a more neutral state.Shadybabs (talk) 02:23, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Number of living children

edit

Han gave birth to 14 children, but fewer than 13 are alive today. Here are the deaths:

  1. Second daughter died aged 8 days
  2. Second son died Jan. 1983 (see Heung Jin Moon)
  3. Another son died falling (or jumping) from a balcony in Las Vegas
  4. First son Hyo Jin Moon died in middle age

So we should say she has 10 children. --Uncle Ed (talk) 15:35, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The current version has inaccuracies

edit
  • They married in April 1960 and have 13 children and over 40 grandchildren

Only 10 of their children are alive now. Please change this, or allow me to change it myself. --Uncle Ed (talk) 15:42, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

If no one objects, I'm going to point out that Ms. Han gave birth to 14 children, of whom only 10 are still alive. I'm not sure what the best way is to word this. --Uncle Ed (talk) 18:33, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

heir?

edit

I understand divisions after his death, but this might still be relevant. http://sanctuary-pa.org/index.php/2017/11/21/no-longer-wife-of-the-true-parent-an-essay-by-kerry-williams/ --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 18:35, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

I agree that the heir issue is relevant - what is your suggestion? To make an "heir" section? PineSky (talk) 23:03, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
