editRedspecial: Soke_nidai and the Hakkoryu schools power doesn't extend to Wiki this is a free and open project meaning the info presented here is just that "free" collected from my own study of books and the net on the subject of Hakkoryu, it is surprising the extent and scary how Soke-Nidai is trying to make Hakkoryu so secret, a shame really it's a great art. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tenteisai (talk • contribs) 23:52, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- Nate let me help you Soke_Nidai is the whole title, I was using that instead of Okuyama or Ryoho because after the founders death his son took the same name, so now because of the Wiki title standards we have a problem. The founder Ryoho Okuyama Soke-Shodai was the founder, Ryoho Okuyama Soke-Nidai ( second great soke )is his son, so what do we do ? tenteisai
James (Tenteisai), your interest and enthusiasm is notable, but two major items of note. First, the entry is currently painful to read. Please address the issues with spelling, capitalization, punctuation and word-spacing...you should not have to rely on third parties to clean these things up. Right now it feels like watching a Swiss watch being repaired with a chisel. Secondly, your comment on what seems "scary" is an indicator of your misunderstanding of the school and should cause you to rethink your qualifications to publish any synopses or articles anyway related to it. A third item worth noting is your grasp of the Japanese language. For example, "Nidai" does not translate as "second great", your assumption of kanji is incorrect - and you've misused the title in the body of the article. I need help as I'm dyslexic and that is the point of Wiki getting help from others. I don't see any reason to rethink my qualifications on this, most of the Mods on Wiki where just users, adding and editing info to improve articles, but that is the flaw and beautiful thing about this whole project anyone can add even a dyslexic, goof ball, like me. :) if you don't approve of the article edit it yourself, unless you are a student of Hakkoryu who can't be involved in internet BB's and Discussions. Soke-Nidai is how I have heard and seen him refereed to, but I have also seen it Nidai-Soke and many other way, so my question would be how should it be used ? Tentaisei and yes my Japanese sucks
