other versions
editIn "The Presence of Siva" by S. Kramrisch, (p.150) it states that there are other versions of the myth, where Shiva played no part in drinking the poison, and that the Nagas instead take possession of the poison. Stjohn1970 (talk) 09:58, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

HALAHALA consumed by Vayu is Fringe theory
editI have removed section vayu wind-god taking poision, this is not in any of mainstream hindu scripture and hence comes under WP:FRINGE or WP:OR also Kalkuta doesnot translate to time puzzle in Sanskirt so removed it Jethwarp (talk) 16:03, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
