Cheshire

edit

Hale, Cheshire has a population of nearly 20,000. That's twice as much as some British towns. It's one of the largest villages in the country. Please stop inserting the word "small". Perhaps the person who keeps making this change is confusing Hale near Altrincham and Hale near Speke. The article refers to the former. Please leave alone. The description is inaccurate by any measure I can think of.

How many places called Hale ...

edit

... are there in England? The one referred to in the New Forest (district) article does not seem to be mentioned here, so it's hard for me to go on disambiguating "Hale" in the articles which are linked to this page. <KF> 11:40, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

PS According to Haven (Holidays), there's another one in Cornwall. <KF> 11:43, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hawaiian Hale

edit

Shouldn't there be some mention of the Hawaiian house type called Hale? --87.150.7.58 (talk) 21:55, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Honolulu Hale is an entry at See also, and the Hawaiian language definition is listed at the wiktionary link. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:10, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
