Hall is generally acknowledged to be among the elite public high schools in the nation, and, with Conard, challenges Connecticut's many prestigious boarding schools in academic rigor and distinction. A large proportion of the school's annual graduating class is accepted to elite universities and colleges, including all Ivy League schools (especially Yale), MIT, Georgetown, Duke, Tulane, and Washington University, among others.

'Wendsday' club ?

edit

The Clubs and Activities section indicates that the Foreign Film Club is better known as 'Wendsday' club. Should this be Wednesday or is it really known as the Wendsday club? -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 14:04, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Infobox images

edit

Part of the dispute comes from the infobox images. Thetoxicdump insists on putting in the images at full size as uploaded to Wikipedia. This means that the Warriors.jpg image is at 504 x 284 pixels. NewWingHallHighSchool.jpg is being scaled to 500 x 392 pixels. The problem here is that this makes the infobox significantly exceeded the suggested 300 pixels wide standard at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (infoboxes).

Additionally, the Warriors.jpg image should not be added to this infobox, in my opinion. It is a self-made image rather than a real logo. The image also has questionable copyright status as the center of the image appears to be the Washington Redskins' logo recolored in blue. This is, what I believe is, the locus of the dispute here, Metros (talk) 16:18, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
