I'm indending to write a stub (atleast) of "Hamish Macbeth" on Swedish and Danish Wikis. Question was this series a kind of breaktrough gor Robert Carlyle ? I don't recall the name of the Bond-movie he made, but it must have later ? Was he well-known whithin the UK prior of "Hamish Macbeth" ? UaruRamirezi (talk) 22:34, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
Had a look at "Robert Carlyle"article. The Cracker episode(s) were made before "Hamish Macbeth" that wasa rememberal series and episodes. Rembember Carlyle's role figure kills Christopher Eccleston's carrachter (a DCI , I belive) there. So he must had been known before "Hamish Macbeth". "Cracker" is indeed memorable but Carlyle was only a guest star. I'm primary interested in if Carlyle's carreer significally improved by this Scotish series ?
