I suggest merging Hammond station (South Shore Line) to Hammond Gateway station#History as they are short articles about a South Shore Line station in Hammond, with the latter being the newly-opened replacement station of the former. Also, the name "Hammond station (South Shore Line)" is a little bit ambiguous considering that the Hammond Gateway is also a station in Hammond that is served by the South Shore Line. Support per nom. I'd argue that having it be one singular article would make sense due to the very close proximity of the two stations, to the point it could be argued that it's just a reconstructed version of the previous station, just slightly relocated. There are also a few other notable cases, like with NAIT/Blatchford Market station in Edmonton, Calgary, as well as Old City Hall station in Tacoma, Washington, among others. Support given the physical proximity. Mackensen (talk) 12:03, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Support A combined article will provide a more coherent history than two separate articles. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:32, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
