Spouse in infobox

edit

@Saqib: You said, "unless the spouse/children are notable, lets not list their name in infobox". Any WP guideline or quote so I can make it standard practice. Thanks. Störm (talk) 09:48, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Störm: OK I think I should have had elaborate more. As per Template:Infobox_person, we should mention children names in the infobox only if they're independently notable. And I think I think Its fine to mention the name of spouse in the infobox even in the case the spouse is not notable. But in this case, mentioning the name of alleged spouse does not make sense to me. Sharif denied marrying Malik. Maybe we should go for wider community discussion if you think otherwise. Alina Kabaeva claimed to have married Vladmir Putin but I don't see any mention of Kabaeva in the latter's BLP. What is your 2cents? --Saqib (talk) 10:20, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Saqib Fine to me. I misunderstood previously as I thought you was saying to only add to infobox if they have an article. Now, I've added two wives he accepted in his nomination papers. Thanks for help. Störm (talk) 10:41, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
