Not clear

edit

The article is not really clear on two points: (1) How did this canal filter out the ash? I understand there were holes, or tunnels, they were interconnected, but I'm not sure how this would affect the ash content of the water. And did the rice fields benefit from the ash as a fertilizer, or from the filtered water? (2) The context and verb tenses are so mixed that I can not tell if some form of the canal still exists in Kumamoto, or was it lost at some point in history? Thanks for questions. I have observed the Hanagri Ide, and this is the only one of such structure. Fortunately I know the top of the Hanagri Ide Preserving Association, I will study it further. It does not work as fertilizer. I am asking him to use his materials such as photographs and illustrations of the Hanagri Ide prepared to understand the structure. He said that it is OK, but I am not certain if it will be against the rules of Wikipedia concerning the copy right ? Please help --Ichiro Kikuchi (talk) 23:30, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
