as a handgun hunter I can say that this article needs a lot of work.
I guess this is a start
editI guess this is a start for a Wiki page re handgun hunting.
Handgun hunting w/.22s has been going on, probably since there have been .22 handguns. Handgun hunting for other small and medium No. American game has been popular at least the mid-1970s. http://www.tcarms.com/about/ http://www.sskindustries.com/ssk.htm http://www.sskindustries.com/contender.htm
And I don't think the .44 mag was developed back in the 1950s by Elmer Keith for paper target shooting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.44_Magnum But back then, handgun hunting was a novelty, not mainstream.
Categories like Small Game, Medium Game, Large Game, African Game, Dangerous Game, etc should be considered as well as break downs acc to handgun type: single shot; SA revolvers; DA revolvers; semiautos
