Hello!

Track listing

  • Reference 30, for the liner notes, calls them the "media notes" in the reference itself. This sounds like a page of a press packet. Is this indeed the correct term?
  Done
  • "This Is the Life (Hannah Montana song)" has redirected back to the album since 2012. The last revision prior to redirecting seems pretty solid, but it's up to you to revert it to a previous edit.
  Done
  • Please add a reference to B5's cover of "Shining Star" in that article, so that readers of this soundtrack article know it's directing to the right article.
  Done

The rest of this section looks sound.

Charts

  • It's a little unusual to have one section within another section. Are there any other charts, aside from the weekly ones? Otherwise, why not merge things?
  Done

Passing "Certifications", "Release history". Good work on the RIAA database instructions. -- Zanimum (talk) 01:50, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Singles and promotion

  • This article is the only place on the entire internet that the phrase "serviced as the only single" appears. Let's avoid coining a new term.
  Done

Critical reception

  • I've added in the only other review of the disc that I could find in the subscription databases I checked. I've tweeted the reviewer to ask if it was 2/4 or 2/5 stars. In case you want the actual review, the only commentary was: "This slickly executed generic pop will sound annoyingly perky to adult ears. But it hits the kids right where they live."
Done, and thanks for finding the review!

Passing "Commercial performance". -- Zanimum (talk) 19:58, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay, so everything is ready (Lead, "Background and composition"), but I haven't reviewed References yet in detail.

Right off the bat, Hanna B. merely reposted the first season interview with Miley to Fanpop, it appears to be from Hollywood.com. -- Zanimum (talk) 00:55, 29 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've made one correction via Checklinks, one issue left: any alternate source for Mexican charts? The link is dead.

  Done

To the assertion that it's Disney's fourth soundtrack to debut in the top 10, I believe that's actually for that year. The sources aren't clear. Ultimately, I'm not sure if this issue is solvable, though. -- Zanimum (talk) 02:32, 29 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Do you want me to remove that statement then?
Without something proving it wrong, best to leave it in.
References seem to check out, so congrats!
(FYI, at the same time, I've demoted the article to mid-level importance for both Albums and Disney. Through sales, I'd say it's safe to give it that level for albums, despite the lack of published music criticism. The TV show of Hannah would be high level Disney, this album by itself is less critical. None of this is meant as a criticism of your article, which is strong.) -- Zanimum (talk) 23:57, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks so much, I appreciate your time! WikiRedactor (talk) 00:04, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Policy discussion in progress

edit

There is a policy discussion in progress at the Manual of Style which affects this page, suggesting that the capitalization of "like" should be removed from the songs listed here. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — LlywelynII 18:15, 14 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
