Reference to Hannah Snell in the film The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
In the 1969 film The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, the character of Jean Brodie references Hannah Snell in a significant scene about three-quarters of the way through, in which she cites Snell as example of female warrior courage, to inspire her class of young girls (probably around 12 years old) to fight with the Fascists of General Franco. (I don't know whether this is in the original 1961 novel by Muriel Spark.) Given the cultural weight of the film (and novel), would it be useful to add this under 'Cultural References'? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.175.14.204 (talk) 17:21, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
