Origin of the name
edit@Canterbury Tail I notice you reverted my edit that gave details to the origin of the name Hannaway. In what way did "reference does not support that is the origin" [sic]
If you believe the name has a different origin that is not from the Irish language, you are free to add that research and contribute positively to the net knowledge of Wikipedia. Wikiejd2 (talk) 16:06, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- Where in your reference did it say that the Irish was the names origin? It listed an Irish name, but made no claim whatsoever that it's the origin of it. As a result it failed validation. That site lists households with the various names, and variations on the name, it doesn't make any claims as to where names come from or any interpretations.
