editI think he sold the art collection to Spain but managed to give everyone the impression that he had given it. His name is on it, but he doesn't own it anymore, I think. Ortolan88 04:37, 7 January 2003
A significant amount of the art in the Thyssen-Bornemisza is stolen Jewish art from WWII. Baron Thyssen-Bornemisza was linked to the Nazis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.69.58.121 (talk • contribs) 04:18, 7 August 2006
Genealogy
editWhile the research is impressive and the effort appreciated, this and related articles are accumulating too much genealogical information in violation of WP:NOT. The information should be cut by at least half, and integrated with other biographical information in a more encyclopedic format. Lethiere (talk) 19:17, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
In the opinion of this simple reader, the article is very difficult to follow due to the inclusion of excessive genealogical references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.156.200 (talk) 20:04, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Dates of birth and death
editContradicting sources: according to the New York Times [1], his birthday was 13 April 1921, and he died 27 April 2002. What is right? --FordPrefect42 (talk) 09:42, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
