More research/material needed

edit

Much of what's included in this article was lifted directly from happytraum.com. More material is needed to replace this. I'll do what I can, but help from others who know Traum's background better would help. Thanks. Allreet (talk) 22:33, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

For clarification on "Blowin' in the Wind" claims: Traum's site says the Broadside sessions were in 1963 (as did the Wikipedia article). The album was released early in 1963, but was recorded in late 1962. AllMusic gives 1964 for the album's release, but Smithsonian gets it right with 1963. Dylan recorded the song for Columbia in July 1962 at the third Freewheelin' session. However, his album wasn't released until a year later, the same summer that Peter, Paul & Mary released their single. Thus, the New World Singers version scooped everyone. Has a references and a notes section. Can't the reference be included in the inline citations? Cleanelephant (talk) 20:40, 9 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

To add to article

Basic information (which anyone visiting this article might expect to find here) to add to this article, in order to help make it more properly encyclopedic: how/when Traum got the nickname "Happy." 98.123.38.211 (talk) 02:23, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

A lot of such questions are answered in yesterday's obituary in Rolling Stone. Will try to add those that seem appropriate. PDGPA (talk) 21:14, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
