The message I posted on J.delanoy's talk page was archived without response. I take that as a go-ahead to create a new article from scratch. —Wbm1058 (talk) 20:23, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion

edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Please bother to read talk:Distribution America before posting a speedy deletion tag. The tag went up so fast, a bot must have posted it! --Wbm1058 (talk) 20:31, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is the nominating editor's (hello???) position that no hardware co-ops are notable and that they all should be deleted? -Wbm1058 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 20:49, 18 April 2012 (UTC).Reply

Outdated Information

edit

This list is very outdated. United Hardware merged with Do-It-Best and is no longer a member. Emery-Waterhouse merged with Jensen (now Emery Jensen Distribution, subsidiary of Ace) and isn't a member. Handy Hardware merged with HDW. Monroe Hardware is in the process of closing.

The distributor map on the HDA site is outdated and they do not have a public-facing list of members though they claim more than 65 distributors. 2603:6080:E500:9EAF:2546:1CCD:519E:6770 (talk) 20:44, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
