  •   Article was created from redirect within seven days of being nominated. Article is long enough, well-sourced, neutral, and copyvio-free. QPQ has been completed. Image is properly licensed, but as a static image representing a dance, I'm not sure how effectively it represents the subject. The hook is fine and meets policy, but I have two alternate hooks if the nominator is amenable to them. Morgan695 (talk) 18:22, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
ALT0a: ... that "Hare Hare Yukai" is credited with originated the cover dance, where individuals attempt to replicate dance choreography on video-sharing websites?
ALT1: ... that in 2007, a flash mob performance of "Hare Hare Yukai" was stopped by police?
    • I'll leave the image up to the promoters. Here's an edit of ALT0a for grammar: ALT0b: ... that "Hare Hare Yukai" is credited with originating the cover dance video genre, where individuals attempt to replicate dance choreography on video-sharing websites?
ALT2: ... that the dance for "Hare Hare Yukai" used elements of dance choreographies from the Japanese girl group Berryz Kobo? Lead sentence inaccuracy

edit

The lead states:

“the ending theme song to the 2006 anime adaptation of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (the first book in the Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series by Nagaru Tanigawa).”

(and this is repeated further below, too)

However, this isn’t accurate - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2006) consists of an achronological arrangement of six episodes adapting the first novel, with the remaining eight being from short stories from other novels in the series (each novel having a different title)

Perhaps there’s a more elegant and accurate way of describing what this is? Maybe “the ending theme song to the 2006 anime, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, based on the light novels by Nagaru Tanigawa” William278 (talk) 03:34, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't think mentioning the short stories is notable, but I tried adding them in the edit. lullabying (talk) 22:58, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
