The General's Title
editOn the article page, the caption under the General's picture is "General The Honourable Henry Duncan Graham (Harry) Crerar". Is that correct? Shouldn't it be "The Honourable General Henry Duncan Graham (Harry) Crerar"? Sliver7 18:28, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Because I couldn't be arsed to make a new sub-point... It's a shame there isn't more in this article about Crerar... A very intelligent commander who didn't recieve enough thanks for his work. So goes the spoils. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.17.144.104 (talk) 02:38, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- The General is listed as a Knight of the Venerable Order of St. John, which is described in its article as an order of chivalry. Should, or should not it then be 'General Sir Henry Duncan Graham Crerar'? Should not this at least entitle him to another postnomial?Toyokuni3 (talk) 21:54, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

Will review this week. Hog Farm Talk 01:49, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
I made several copy edits, revert anything you don't agree with
- "During the The Second World War" - duplicate the
- "Vienna to study the manufacture of Incandescent light bulbs." - I'm not sure that Incandescent should be capitalized
- Decapitated. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- "SORA) by Major Don A, White" - is the comma intentional
- No just my lousy typing. Corrected. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- "First Canadian Army became operational Normandy at noon on 23 July" - missing a word?
- Added missing word. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- "Crerar immediately clashed his Crocker" - ?
- Changed to "with". Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- "the Crocker and the commander of the British Second Army" - ?
- Deleted "the". Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- " Keller was seriously wounded in an attack by American bombers on 8 August, and was succeeded by Major-General Daniel Spry ten days later." - Surely if it was the Americans, it would have been an accident, so attack seems like a weird word choice
- Deleted "in an attack". Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- Order of Leopold seems to only be in infobox, as do the two Croix de Guerres, the Order of the White Lion, and the Order of Kutuzov
- Couldn't find the Order of Kutuzov. It's supposed to have been gazetted on 4 October 1945, but the Canada Gazette is not available online, and it isn't in his medals list. So removed that one for now. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- "Croix Croix de Guerre 1940 with Palm (Belgium)" - Is the double Croix intentional?
- Mais non. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- Sourcing looks good.
Placing on hold. Hog Farm Talk 03:15, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- All points addressed. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 05:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
