Eat a car?
editThere was a lot of talk, years ago, decades ago, among his fans, that the celebrated Southern writer of fiction, Harry Crews, had set out to eat a car. The idea was so entirely absurd that it grabbed a lot of attention. Crews had supposedly announced that, to prove a point, he would grind up, piece by piece, an entire automobile, and ingest it. Does anyone else remember this? Maybe it was a character in a Crews novel. Maybe I'm just having a Mandela moment. rags (talk) 02:49, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
