Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Charliehdb (talk) 09:59, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Kane's father isn't actually from Galway, he was born in England. [1]

in career statistics the subtotal bar (which includes bundesliga and championship contributions) is only reflecting bundersliga contributions, therefore the 2 sub totals (prem and other) do not add up to the lowest level values in the table. You need to add in a 3rd subtotal line for championship / league one contributions 57.140.20.51 (talk) 08:24, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

To explain why the table looks as it is right now, these total rows are for the same team (Tottenham and Bayern Munich are the only two teams which need them since he hay played for more than a season). The other four teams he has played for were for at most one season so they don't need these total rows. Adding totals for each division participated does not apply. Watford and Arsenal player categories

edit

Are these types of categories really meant for youth level? I mean, he was not even a teenager when he belonge to these clubs. I don't think it should be used in that way. OscarL 12:10, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

What's going on with the "Regarded as [one of] the best x of y" summations in footballer article ledes?

edit

The opening paragraph of the article used to state:

Kane is regarded as one of the best players in the world and one of the best strikers of his generation.

This is still entirely supportable (arguably more so than ever given that he just placed within the top 10 at the Ballon D'Or and won multiple Europe-wide awards last season), but I understand the contentiousness of these sentences and their strange ubiquitousness. I've seen this construct removed from a few footballers' pages now, but it's very inconsistently applied. Is this some new policy? How is it to be applied? And should we be removing it from every footballer's page? What are the guidelines here?

If anything, the current lede understates Kane's level of standing within the footballing world, especially relative to other footballers who haven't had this wording extirpated. Elliott-AtomicInfinity (talk) 03:56, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
