The correct title of the first book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - the author, J. K. Rowling, is British, and the book was first published in the United Kingdom. The alternative Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is used only for the United States (USA) publication. |

- @GrayStorm, it is a book series, so a citation does not need to be added, if I am correct. 48JCL TALK 17:17, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

Making the second paragraph more specific
editI'm still learning the ropes so I'm sorry if this suggestion isn't appropriate.
I was reading the second paragraph and I thought that 'Major themes in the series include prejudice, corruption, madness, and death.' could be changed to 'Major themes in the series include prejudice, corruption, madness, and the acceptance of death.' I feel that this would reflect on the themes of the series, namely death, in a more specific way. SI Harry Potter (talk) 19:36, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- an alternative source would need to be provided for that 216.164.249.213 (talk) 17:22, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
phrasing
edit"Warner Bros. Pictures adapted the original seven books into an eight-part namesake film series. In 2016, the total value of the Harry Potter franchise was estimated at $25 billion, making it one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play based on a story co-written by Rowling."
This is a bit awkward. The play has a much smaller scale than the items listed previously. How about "several stage plays have also been produced"? 216.164.249.213 (talk) 17:21, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
Sapphina Marvelo Riddle
editShe’s actually Voldemort’s daughter and was found in the 4th book. You will see they describe her with black and white hair. Sapphina is one out of two of Bellatrix and Voldemort’s daughter. Delphini Delphi is her older sister. Saphhy (talk) 03:51, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
