The project Harry Reid initiated was not named AATIP
editThe name of the program initiated by Harry Reid was AAWSAP (Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program). This is made quite clear in the book Skinwalkers at the Pentagon: An Insiders' Account of the Secret Government UFO Program. This book was co-authored by James T. Lacatski and Colm Kelleher and George Knapp (Lacatski and Kelleher were program managers of the AAWSAP project). It has a forward written by Senator Harry Reid himself. Could we get this corrected? I would attempt it myself, but I am very much a newbie here and have never attempted to edit an article. But I think it is important that this be clarified as it is a mistake that was created and perpetuated by the 2017 New York Times article, "Glowing Auras and 'Black Money': The Pentagon's Mysterious UFO Program".
