• The first sentence is kind of long, but I don't really see how you could shorten it
• Remove '(Mexico)'; it's not necessary in the context
• Change 'seven' to 'six' years

Writing and recording

Paragraph 1

• Link 'Mexico'
• The sentence that starts with "While recording demos..." is too long and includes too many clauses

Paragraph 2

• The lead sentence could be shortened; you don't have to include how they became friends during the recording process
• Add an author to the Billboard source if available

Critical and commercial reception

• Separate these into two separate paragraphs; one for critical reception and another for commercial reception

Paragraph 1

• Change the lead sentence to "Upon its release, "Hasta la Raíz" received positive reviews from music critics."
• Change 'coincident' to 'in agreement'
