Copied note
editNote copied from Talk:Schlumbergera:
The Easter Cactus was called Schlumbergera gaertneri (Regel) Britton & Rose back in the 1970s, at the same time that the Christmas cactus was usually called Zygocactus truncatus. Both this article [Schlumbergera] and Hatiora should probably mention that.--Curtis Clark (talk) 02:09, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
- I've added at note in the Schlumbergera article. This article needs an expanded Taxonomy section, when this information should be included. Peter coxhead (talk) 15:04, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
- I've now expanded the discussion of the taxonomy of the genus; not sure if it's of any great interest to anyone! Peter coxhead (talk) 12:38, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
Move back to Schlumbergera
editThe move of Hatiora subgenus Rhipsalidopsis to Schlumbergera seems to be more-or-less accepted now (e.g. it's in Plants of the World Online), so I think we should make the move. Peter coxhead (talk) 15:50, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
