Another Haye Hall (With Moat)

edit

Whilst looking around old ordnance survey maps I spotted what appear to be remains of a 'Haye Hall Moat' and 'Haye House' in what is now Bromford Bridge / Hodge Hill. Haye House was the Castle Bromwich golf club Club house but existed long before the golf club. It later became the Comet public House in Collingbourne Avenue. I think it has now been demolished. I have no data on the Haye Hall referred to on the map (Ordnance Survey. Warwickshire Sheet VIII.15 Second Edition 1904. Can be found at https://maps.nls.uk/view/115632867) The moat is just South of the race course. The location of the referred moat is logical being adjacent to the River Tame flood plane. It looks like it would have been difficult to fill a moat at the Hay Hall in the article. I am not a historian and first time Wikipedia editor so forgive the vagueness and quality of my contribution.
