Paradoxes

edit

This seems as good a place as any to address it.

We saw in season 3, when Eloise tells Desmond he cannot change time, that the universe will not allow it; and we saw that despite attempts to change it, that Desmond could not prevent Charlies death forever. In season 4 we saw Desmond's further experiences in time, with additional amendments by Daniel Farraday. And there have been others.

In He's our You.......well, what is there to say now about these rules of Time Travel. Although I am pretty sure that Ben will survive the gunshot wound he has suffered.....what if he does not? Does this affect additional articles, do we wait for an episode where this is more explained but I wanted to be the first out the gate that once again, the show continues to amaze and shock me at the same time and this possible paradox is certainly near the top of the list of twists they have shown. "what if he does not?" There is your problem. –thedemonhog talkedits 07:27, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
What he said. As we have already seen, it is possible to change the past. Re: Daniel Farraday talking to Desmond during Desmond's time alone in the hatch. Lots42 (talk) 09:27, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think the best approach is to wait and see what happens next week (Lost is a serial drama after all). --Jackieboy87 (talk · contribs) 11:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Waiting seems to be the best approach but I wanted to start the dialogue right now. Hopefully we will get some answers, but I got a feeling they are going to come with more questions too. Whippletheduck (talk) 13:07, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

If Ben is gone, then the space-time continuum will surely disintegrate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.171.0.148 (talk) 22:03, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Radzinsky

edit

Isn't Radzinsky the third-last guy who pressed the button in the hatch? The partner of the guy who was later Desmond's partner? I think his name was mentioned in Episode 2x23 "Live together die alone". Should that be mentioned here? --Mithcoriel (talk) 15:00, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you talking about Inman? If so, why mention him here? He wasn't in the DI in the '70s. He supposedly didn't join until coming to the Island after being in the US Army, (after meeting with Sayid). --HELLØ ŦHERE 17:31, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
He's talking about Inman's former partner. 128.211.198.168 (talk) 00:23, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Then yes, Radzinsky was Inman's partner. --HELLØ ŦHERE 00:53, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
