It was pronounced /hæɑðobard/, where /æ/ was pronounced like a in cat, and /ɑð/ was pronounced like ath in father.--Berig 10:40, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Old English: Heaðubeardan" I see this repeated in many online sources that all seem to lead back to this wikipedia article, but in both Beowulf (2032, 2067) and Widsith (49) it's Heaðobeardan with an "o".
