Was 100.7 Heart FM the UK's third regional radio station?

edit

I notice this article states that 100.7 Heart FM was the UK's third independent regional radio station, opening after Century FM in Leicester and Jazz FM in the North West. Surely this is not the case and what it should actually be saying is that Heart FM was the West Midlands' third independent regional radio station, after BRMB and the now defunct Buzz FM. If anyone from the Birmingham/West Midlands area, or better still from Heart itself, reads this page and can help, I wonder whether they might be able to clarify this situation. She used to present the station's late night romantic show 'Between The Sheets' when the station first opened. Hope I spelled her name correctly. 81.151.19.233 13:51, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Content?

edit
  • The article needs a cleanup - its history section is split up into early days, tushar makwana and recent history.
  • Station information and transmitter should be intergrated into one section.
  • current schedule is an unencylopedic section. Readers who wish to know its schedule can lookup the station's site. There is absolutely no reason for this section to remain in the article.
  • Past djs is an uninformative list. It provides absolutely no reason why the particular dj is notable, or why his stint with the station merits a mention in the article. It also has several red links, which for lack of content, should not be there.

Looking forward to all editors' ideas about this. If there are no comments in 48 hours, I'll be going ahead with the proposed rework of the page. Thanks xC | 12:41, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Oldheartlogo.jpg

edit

Image:Oldheartlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
