Things To Do
editRecently I've been feeling that this game has been lacking in alot of love and that expanding its Wikipedia entry would be a good place to begin working on this. Thus I propose the following changes and addtions to this article.
- A section on the themes that are prominate in the game of Hecatomb. This could extend to minion types, artistic themes, the general theme of the horror genre which dominates the game as well as the self mocking humor that has been included in the flavor. I would also suggest that the Card Sources be merged into this section as the sources, such as the works of H.P. Lovecraft are some of the game's most prevelent themes.
- A section on the mechanics of the game. This is one of distiguishing features of game which differentiates Hecatomb from other TCGs, most notably Magic: The Gathering, and should have some treatment in this article.
- Made an attempt to add some notes on the game mechanics. - Slordak 17:26, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Either a section for each different type (Minions, Relics, Fates and Gods) of card in the game, or more simpley, a section dealing with all four. It would also be useful to create a list of Gods that have been represented as cards and expand on the specific roles which Gods fufill within the game.
- A section summarizing the types of cards has been added. This could always be expanded later as described above, if desired. - Slordak 20:08, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Collectable or no?
editI'm assuming "yes," given that this is Wizard's, but I don't know from the article. This should probably be mentioned, no?--MattShepherd 20:43, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
Fixed, the first line now reads 'collectable trading card game' -- Chris handforth
