Around 1992-93

i visited the HP to document it for the Save Outdoor Sculpture project that was happening them. I have discovered that my attempts to post pictures of sculpture in America created after 1923 has drawn the ire of the copyright police here and so am reluctant to post any of those pictures. Any opinions? Carptrash (talk) 02:08, 28 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Black Bottom

I thought Black Bottom referred to an old neighborhood torn up by I-75. MMetro (talk) 20:58, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

the CITATION NEEDED tags, but his statement got my attention.

the Heidelberg Project attracts nearly 275,000 visitors a year.

That means over 650 people per day for 365 days a year. That is a lot, I have visited it several times, both alone and running a group, and have always pretty much had the place to myself. Any one wish to confirm that number before I do something to it? Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 15:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, it's been pretty sparse every time I've been around there. But the last time was 10 years ago, so maybe it's busy now.110.32.99.162 (talk) 05:22, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks - though your reply is NOT helping that number survive. Carptrash (talk) 05:32, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

After threatening to do so I am removing this sentence. The source provided did nothing to back up the statement.
" Nevertheless, the Heidelberg Project attracts nearly 275,000 visitors a year, now considered a recognized destination for Detroit tourists.[1]

I was there today and there was about a half dozen people at around 3:30pm. That said, your deletion was probably warranted -- I highly doubt that there is anybody actually capturing the traffic density. Kevinmkr (talk) 02:14, 19 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I thoroughly enjoyed going through the external links provided for this page, and thought that the use of google street view to allow readers to really explore the project was very clever. I did notice that a couple of the links are broken. I would agree that the 'Citation Needed' flags detract from the strength of this article, however they are few enough that it is still very compelling and reliable.
