Spoilers
editBeginning with the second episode, the show will air at 7 pm ET on Citytv in Canada, so results being listed before it airs in the U.S. are not necessarily fake. Just wanted to let people know ahead of time and not look at the page in case there's spoilers. I didn't look at the season 19 article for the whole season lol. 'Keanu' vs. 'Keona' Hogan
editIs there any specific reason we keep changing the spelling of her name?... Per the source listed in the table (the official press release!) as well as the Gold Derby article listing the contestants, a local (Fox Baltimore) interview with her, and a Mashed article about her, 'Keanu Hogan' is indeed correct.
I do know that this is apparently her social media, but even if it is, there are a few problems with that:
- It is a nonverified social media account- WP:NOTRS
- Several of the posts on the account support the 'Keanu' spelling (including this and this)
Also worth mentioning at this point that I had previously checked this account, and the biography on her profile did use the 'Keona' spelling. However, upon checking it again for this post, she has seemingly changed it and it now uses the 'Keanu' spelling. Especially with that in mind, there should be no reason to continue changing this, as multiple sources give 'Keanu' as the correct spelling, not 'Keona'. Magitroopa (talk) 16:17, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Keona is on her jacket. So I was wondering which spelling is correct, Keona or Keanu.
- IMDb says Keona, Hell's Kitchen’s official YouTube channel says Keona, and her social media (Twitter) says Keona, so I believe Keona is correct. PedigreeWWEFigz87V2 (talk) 14:24, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- As the note on the article says, please establish a consensus here first, don't just change it immediately because you believe it is right.
- First, IMDb cannot be used as a source for this, as it is WP:NOTRS (see WP:RS/IMDb and WP:Citing IMDb). Second of all, yes, on YouTube, it does use 'Keona', but again, there are multiple sources (including the official press release) that use 'Keanu' Finally, her social media accounts are WP:NOTRS as they are unverified, but even if they are allowed to be used as a source, both her supposed Instagram and Twitter accounts use 'Keanu', not sure where you see her using 'Keona' on Twitter. Also, after checking her Twitter, it appears this is her official(?) website, which uses 'Keanu'.
- At this point, it seems more appropriate the way it is- mainly using the 'Keanu', along with the note in the Chefs section saying she is credited as 'Keona'. Obviously we don't know the reasoning, but she could've changed her name or prefers one over the other- who knows? Magitroopa (talk) 17:40, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
[1] this Twitter account is named Keona Hogan. So who knows whether it’s Keona or Keanu, maybe she goes by one or the other? PedigreeWWEFigz87V2 (talk) 14:24, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
Well if her real name is Keanu, then why did they put Keona on her jacket? That may be what she goes by? I don’t know. PedigreeWWEFigz87V2 (talk) 14:26, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
How do we know who was on which team?
editEvery season has indicated on which team the contestant was, but not there. To me it is confusing and I wanna know who was on which team without reading lots of boring text... BRING BACK THE COLORS 2A00:102A:5012:6064:1:0:197A:F179 (talk) 05:55, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
