The German wikipedia article, de:Helmut Lieth, that provided the foundation for this article, states that Lieth remarried Marina Mechtanova following the death of his first wife and that they had a daughter together. The Spanish and Russian linked articles appear to be based on the German article as well. Neither the German National Library source, Lieth's own archived 2005 CV nor the comprehensive 2004 biography in Tropical Ecology cited support this. I therefore assume the claim was vandalism from the IP edit of 19 June 2011 that has gone unchallenged, and I have modified the text and infobox details accordingly to remove this. --KenBailey (talk) 07:23, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
