Brisbane
editI've deleted the line "In 1993, Brisbane Boys' College in Queensland, Australia became the first school outside the United Kingdom to win the coveted Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup" as it didn't seem of significant enough importance to be in the main summary of the whole regatta history, but would be more appropriate in an article on that particular event, or the school. Pictures
editThe article could realy do with a few more pictures. Pictures of any of the following would realy enhance the article:
- A progress marker or progress board
- Two crews on the start
- The stewards enclosure
- The draw in the town hall
- All locations listed under spectators (especially the barn bar and rememnham)
I'll see what I can find myself, but I'm inexperienced with uploading images--The Spith 15:27, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Pictures from Wikibooks
editThere are a number of pictures in the Wikibooks database, associated with this book http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/The_Rowers_of_Vanity_Fair which would be highly suitable for illustrating this article.
I'm not sure about a) how to link to pictures from wikibooks on wikipedia or b) the etiquette of copying pictures from one to another.
Is anyone expert in this?

editSee also User talk:David Biddulph#Henley Royal Regatta - See also section
The See also section link to Disher Challenge Cup has been added because it specifically relates to the 1919 Peace Regatta.
It is not just one of 1000s of rowing races held around the world. It specifically commemorates one of the Peace Regatta's competing crews.
