Should we still have old information from before the opening of the metro on this page? Alex@MTRL (talk) 02:41, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- This was for historical reasons so as to show the drastic changes that resulted from the opening of the Metro extension. See Terminus Henri-Bourassa (AMT)#At Terminus Nord before the opening of the three stations in Laval (For historical record) Peter Horn User talk 21:21, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

editWhy is this article headed Henri-Bourassa Terminus Nord (AMT) and its counterpart Terminus Henri-Bourassa Sud (AMT)? Shouldn't the word order be the same for both? And why the suffix "(AMT)"? I can understand it's a convenient way of disambiguating train stations from the communities they serve, but bus stations prefixed with "Terminus" don't really seem to need further disambiguation. //Essin (talk) 19:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- To correct this now would create redirects, and what is worse, double redirects. Peter Horn User talk 21:13, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- See also Terminus Henri-Bourassa (AMT). Besides that (AMT) is used as a suffix for nearly all termini around greater Montreal. Getting rid of it would be too large a task and likely cause havoc. Peter Horn User talk 21:26, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- The merged article has solved part of the issue, but I still don't see why "(AMT)" in the titles of actual articles (as opposed to redirects) is necessary, or what the problem would be with redirects. Double redirects must be fixed, of course, but it's not that much work and bots can do it, even if Wikipedia:Double redirects seems to recommend human intervention. What kind of havoc would be caused, more specifically? //Essin (talk) 14:40, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- Why don't you nominate all the AMT bus terminals for renaming to "Terminus XYZ" etc., without the "(AMT)"? I could fix all the perceived problems if it was agreed upon. Secondarywaltz (talk) 18:22, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- This is the wrong place for this discussion, because it is only a redirect. Since you are not very active on Wikipedia, I have boldly moved the article. The sky will not fall. Secondarywaltz (talk) 20:11, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- I read Wikipedia much more often than I write anything, but this particular discussion I had forgotten about for a while. I did consider moving it when writing the previous post, but I didn't figure out where, and I am happy to see that the issue could be sorted out (at least from my point of view) anyway. //Essin (talk) 11:18, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
