editI've started wikifying and editing this article. In its original form, the article was written with a lot of minor detail that isn't really appropriate for an encyclopedia entry, so I'm trying to judicially prune it. I hope this doesn't offend the original writer.... Akradecki 20:31, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
- More wikification (done to the "Paper dishes" header). I have to admit, this is a lot of fun...I didn't know about this guy, and he sounds fascinating. As the original article seems to have been based on some detailed family history, this borders on original research, which I'm a little concerned about. I'm sure that there's references out there, and I'll continue looking, but most are probably going to be buried in histories of the individual industries he worked in. Any help would be appreciated! - As I progress further, I'm coming to think that what this is is a OCR of some old article or bio. The original poster appears to be a relative, but doesn't seem to have done any editing, and seems to be uncontactable. Would love to know the origin. Won't be too much of a copyright issue, since I'm rewriting it, but it would be good to at least list it as a reference, if anyone can help me identify it...Akradecki 22:26, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
De-Oxidize?
editOne of the companies mentioned in the orininal version of this article has three variants of spelling: Deoxides Metal Co., Deoxidized Metal Co. and De-oxidize Co. ... anyone know which is correct? For the purposes of this wikification, I'm unifying it to Deoxidized. Akradecki 20:04, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
