A fact from Henry Perrine Baldwin appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 24 January 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
|
Nationality
editSo Henry Baldwin was born in Lahaina as we all know, but for some reason his nationality was listed as American. Nothing about his dual citizenship? Or is it because no one couldn't find the actual proof? Do your research! The Kingdom was thriving at this time. Mamoahina (talk) 04:26, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Religion?
editI'm curious about the religion of this son of missionaries (sent by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions so presumably Congregationalist), especially since the article mentions him playing music at church after losing his arm in the farm accident so his faith must've been important to him. Also, I came to this article by a link on the article about Sister Marianne Cope, a Roman Catholic whose work with lepers H.P. Baldwin helped fund. BTW, this article reads better and is more comprehensive than most class c articles, so I don't know if reclassification might be warranted, or if it's missing something big that should've been mentioned on this talk page rather than simply in the classification letter.Jweaver28 (talk) 11:08, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
