editI go to the 400 year old Heinrich Suso Gymnasium in Konstanz, and there's a Heinrich Suso church in Wollmattingen (suburb of KN). Why is the "German name" in the article so different from the one that's actually used here in Germany?
I agree. Henry Suso is the English version of his name. The wikipedia page should be changed to Heinrich Suso 114.76.51.65 (talk) 08:08, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
You've answered your own question: "Henry Suso is the English version of his name." Just as German-speakers use "Franz von Assisi" for one Italian mystic and "Katharina von Siena" for another Italian mystic, or "Thomas Morus" for an English martyr and "Heinrich VIII" for an English king. It's the way the language is spoken. As someone once said: "Was siehst du aber den Splitter in deines Bruders Auge, und wirst nicht gewahr des Balkens in deinem Auge?"
