editPlease note that the references given are all books from the 1930ies and heavily biased. We recently updated the German article because of this fakt. -- Lecartia 00:20, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- There is an opinion that Herbert Norkus themselves provoked the communists, as they deliberately engaged in propaganda in the communist area, knowing that the communists would react aggressively to this and they themselves were not opposed to arranging a brawl, it just didn’t go according to plan 37.54.230.242 (talk) 14:45, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
Should this link to the article on Horst Wessel? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.35.129.159 (talk) 07:57, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Is it known whether "Quex" was an authentic nickname of Norkus, or an invention of Schenzinger? Hexmaster (talk) 13:11, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
According to the German article Norkus' father was at the SA. Also "Quex" does seem to be propaganda. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.57.164.246 (talk) 19:05, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Sea Scouts?
editThe statement that Quex was in "The equivalent of the sea scouts" seems imprecise to me. Surely Wikipedia has an article about the actual organisation he was in? The Hitler Youth, perhaps? Shimbo (talk) 17:59, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, I found a reference to Norkus being in the Naval Hitler Youth in To Die For Germany . It makes no mention of the Naval Hitler Youth being equivalent to the Sea Scouts, so I amended the article. Shimbo (talk) 18:41, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
