Expanding
editHi, I had to do some research on Branson a little while ago and I decided that I could expand the article. I've done a little bit so far, but I still have more information, and I will add it in later.
I'm wondering if I should include more about the controversy over Branson's work with the protein structure. Since it can't really be proven that he created the first helical model of protein, I'm not sure if I should even include the speculation in the article. For now, I just included a link to the article I read it in. --Irob 05:07, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Dr. Branson told my wife and I that he had worked on the Manhattan Project during the 1940's. He said he tried to continue working in the field of nuclear physics with the government but was told he could not be hired because of his race. He told us that as a result, he went to France for a time and helped them develop their atomic bomb, even though our State Department had tried to keep him from going. I don't know if any of that is true, I simply know what he told us. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.228.78.20 (talk) 21:19, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Herman Branson. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20060616191355/http://www.pnas.org:80/misc/classics1.shtml to http://www.pnas.org/misc/classics1.shtml
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
