- ... that as children, Ecuadorian footballer Hernán Galíndez was once awarded a bicycle for beating a team featuring Lionel Messi? Source: Ole.com El Universo
- ALT1: ... that Ecuadorian footballer Hernán Galíndez was once awarded a bicycle for winning a tournament?
- Reviewed: Twin Falls saucer hoax
- Comment: I've included an ALT if the Messi mention is too on the nose. Argentina play again on the 9th if the Messi hook is used so could be a good shout for that date, or later if they progress.

Overall: @Kosack: Good article. Will have to AGF on the spanish sources and approve. Onegreatjoke (talk) 21:22, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Kosack and Onegreatjoke: the hooks seem to imply that Galíndez was a footballer when he made that achievement – do we want to include clarification? I don't think it's that uncommon for Lionel Messi to lose a game every now and then, so maybe adding that they were kids is an improvement... theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 00:36, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: Sure, I've got no problem with that, shall we add "in a youth competition" to the end of the hook or did you have something else in mind? Kosack (talk) 07:23, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Maybe something like "... that as children, [...]" theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 20:59, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, I've added that into the main hook now. Kosack (talk) 07:43, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

Place of Birth
editI just noticed his place of birth is inconsistent. On the infobox, it says he was born in Ceuta, Spain. However, on "International career" section, he was born in Argentina. Where was he born actually? Spain or Argentina? CuteDolphin712 (talk) 12:11, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
