Islam

edit

Have just written a fair bit more on heterodoxy in Islam, but would be happier if someone with more expertise would patch it up a bit. I left most of what was there before as it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Harsimaja (talkcontribs) 19:08, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Catholicism

edit

I'm not sure that this is true: "the orthodox Catholic position on unbaptized infants is that their [the unbaptized infants'] fate is uncertain"

1261 As regards children who have died without Baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God, as she does in her funeral rites for them. Indeed, the great mercy of God who desires that all men should be saved, and Jesus' tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them,"63 allow us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who have died without Baptism. All the more urgent is the Church's call not to prevent little children coming to Christ through the gift of holy Baptism.

Woke heterodoxy

edit

I'm hearing the word heterodox used to mean "not adhering to woke dogma", specifically on race issues. I don't have reliable sources, but perhaps those of you already working on this aricle would like to keep your ears open for that. Doric Loon (talk) 15:14, 29 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
