Once more
edit"In the Japanese versions Hiei is often called Hiei Jaganshi (邪眼師); which is a title rather than an actual family name. It is given only to those who have mastered the "Jagan". So far, Hiei has been the only one to claim it."
I'm sorry, but I have the dub and seen the Japanese version of the anime as well as read the manga, and this is simply not true. Once again, unless you can provide sourced for where he's "often" called Hiei Jaganshi, it is being removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yo kuri (talk • contribs) 09:10, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Hes never called Jaganashi in the series, in the manga it explains it more. But his last name/title is Jaganashi. It'll be on every single site you go to. Don't delete something because your too lazy to look it up yourself. If you'd only take 2 mins out of your time and google it you'd recieve more than enough sites.
- Yes, Jaganshi is more of a professional/class Title given to anyone with Jagan (natural or artificial). Jaganshi as a profession is very rare because of the massive requirement of getting it as an artificial implant (the massive drop in power). His nature profession is something similar to a Pyromancer (like Zeru) due to his heritage, so he can summon Fire of the the Human World, the Jagan allow him to summon Hell-Fire which is near impossible feat for normal Pyromancer.
- The Oath for not reviewing his identity to Yukina is not payment for Shigure’s teachings. It is the payment for the Jagan implant, Shigure has a reputation of accepting payment for medical service in the form of something he deem most important to the client.
- The so-call revelation to the meaning of his name during the Dark Tournament is also unnecessary because Hiei literally mean Flying Shadow in both Chinese and Japanese, so the explanation is only for the benefit of those who do not know Japanese.Bio-capsule (talk) 09:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
