Higglytown Heroes is a TV show watched on Playhouse Disney. The show bases on four members of Higglytown, Eubie(Taylor Masamitsu), Wayne(Frankie Ryan Manriquez), Twinkle(Liliana Mumy), Kip(Rory Throst), and a squirrel named Fran (Edie McClurg). The children try to solve their problems with the help of volunteers around the town. The theme song is sung by the band They Might Be Giants.

Higglytown in Africa?

edit

In the episode "Weather or Not," when the weather person said the forecast for Higglytown was sun for the rest of the day, I noticed a picture of the sun appearing somewhere on the western coast of Africa. In a few other episodes, it was snowing. Africa (or most of it) is in the tropics, so it can't snow there. I'm suspecting a continuity error. Scott Gall 04:19, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

If anyone can fill in the missing voices..

edit

Do not hesitate to add them in.

There is a UK version and it's Sue Johnston who plays Fran Why do they not just use the original?

Why do they have to redub the episodes?

In the episode that Lesley Boone appears the end credit spells her name (Leslie) IMDB has her listed as Lesley.

Some questions about current episodes

edit

I was just wondering if the last few guest voices are correct. Everybody from "Saturday Night Higgly/ Monster Sandwiches" down. I don't get to see the show any more, don't have the channel, but I have noticed a few things in the list of names, namely a few repeated names like Lesley Boone (did she really do both voices during one episode?) and Henry Dittman. I remember the first season, except for certain actors called to reprise their characters in subsequent episodes, (Katey Sagal, Donald Faison), every hero was voiced by a different voice actor. For the beginning of Season 2, it was all right, but now in the new episodes, you're seeing a lot of the same voice talent. I know that a few before that people put up were wrong because I saw they were replaced.

Also When was the beginning of Season 3? Season 1 was 26 episodes and so far Season 2 is more than 30 with no end in sight.

A: There isn't technically a season 3; the extra episodes are an extension of season 2 and are referred to in-house as season 2.5. I believe the idea was for Disney to have enough episodes to last the audience over the target age range and no more. -Wildbrain employee —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.28.122.130 (talk) 16:36, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Certain Voices in Certain Episodes

edit

Please do not remove certain guest voices for certain episodes. For example, Rob Paulsen's Mr. Barber is featured in the story featuring the Ambulance Driver hero as his wife is having a baby. Henry Dittman's private investigator is featured again in the Secret Valentine episode where Pizza Guy is the culprit where he helps the kids figure out the mystery. Also, Anne Heche's waitress character is referred to as Gloria in the episode with the Judge Hero where they were arguing over what colour to paint the fence. Just because they are not identified as the hero, does not mean they are not featured in the episode. Remember during the credits, there are three actor lists. First you get the voices of the actors who play the heroes, then you get the list of the main acting cast and finally any other remaining voices

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. RudolfRed (talk) 19:39, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
